system scheduling

Windows > Use > Advanced features > Modifying the protection settings > system scheduling

This screen is used to schedule system on/off sequences via the UPS.
For example, it may be useful to shut down the installation every Friday evening at 7 p.m. and restart it every Monday morning at 7 a.m. (i.e. 60 hours later, see the example).
By default, no on/off sequences are programmed.

Advanced features:

It is possible to set up a number of system on/off sequences. Simply copy the Schedule operation line as many times as needed under Programming events and actions.

If the functions offered do not fully meet your needs, it is also possible to use the Windows task manager. Enter the command line below:
<PSP installation directory>\Pctl.exe "<ACTION restartDelay="XXX" type="SCHEDULE"/>"

<PSP installation directory>\Pctl.exe "<ACTION restartDelay="XXX" type="SCHEDULE"/>"

where XXX is the time delay before the system restarts, expressed in seconds.
