After the installation of the 1.0 package according to the User 
Documentation, please follow the following instructions 
that will finalize the HP-OV NNM7 HP-UX 11.x integration.
 

1) Auto discovery (UPS Icon automatic association):
   
   edit this file 
   /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/oid_to_sym

   Replace the line
1.3.6.1.4.1.705.1.*:Device:UPS:	# Merlin Gerin 
   by the following line
1.3.6.1.4.1.705.1.*:Device:UPS	# Merlin Gerin 
   (remove the : character after UPS)


2) Configure the traps as "trusted action":

   In the directory /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/trustedCmds.conf
   Create a trap.action file 

   In this file insert the following line:
   trap.action=/opt/OV/contrib/NNM/mg/actions/trap.action

3) Restart HP-OV:

   # cd /opt/OV/bin
   # ./ovstop
   # ./ovstart

   After this, HP-OV HP-UX integration functions are operational:
   * UPS Autodiscovery
   * Traps Reception
   * UPS Menus

Après avoir installé le package 1.0  selon la documentation 
utilisateur fournie, les adaptations suivantes sont nécessaires
pour l'intégration à HP-OV NNM7 HP-UX 11.x


1) Autodiscovery (association automatique de l'icone UPS):
   
   editer le fichier 
   /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/oid_to_sym

   Remplacer la ligne
1.3.6.1.4.1.705.1.*:Device:UPS:	# Merlin Gerin 
   par la ligne
1.3.6.1.4.1.705.1.*:Device:UPS	# Merlin Gerin 
   (enlever le : après UPS)


2) Configuration des traps comme "trusted action":

   Dans le répertoire /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/trustedCmds.conf
   Créer un fichier trap.action

   Dans ce fichier insérer la ligne:
   trap.action=/opt/OV/contrib/NNM/mg/actions/trap.action

3) Redémarrer HP-OV:

   # cd /opt/OV/bin
   # ./ovstop
   # ./ovstart

   Après les fonctions de l'intégration à HP-OV HP-UX sont valides:
   * Autodiscovery
   * Reception des traps
   * Gestion des Menus
