How to install Solution-Pac package ? ===================================== Follow these steps to install Solution-Pac. 1- uncompress archive, $>uncompress .tar.Z 2- untar archive, $>tar xf .tar 3- go to the directory, ./solpac_xx/install/ (where xx is Solution-Pac version), 4- run the program, ./setup 5- follow the instructions on the Installation Wizard screens. 6- When installation ends, clean-up the ./solpac_xx directory and its content. How to connect the UPS: ======================== English ------- MGE UPSes equiped with RS232 Sub-D connector 9 pins female receptacle and Sun servers running Solaris PC x86 (as NETRA and LX50) equiped with RS232 RJ45 receptacle. The cable is equiped with => a Sub-D connector 9 pins male (DB9) => and a RJ45 8 pins connector (RJ45).
